Redcat is committed to our dealer network. Redcat was founded in 2005 with the ambition of bringing people together and enhancing lives through our products. All our practices are infused with our passion for automotive culture and RC. Creating positive experiences with the product and brand is the driving force behind our innovations and vision.
As a dealer, you will have access to Redcat wholesale pricing, special offers, and be supported by our team of sales and support experts.
You will also have access to our product catalog data feed on either a daily or weekly basis. This feed will provide you with dealer wholesale pricing, Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), MSRP, current product availability, image links, product descriptions, weights, dimensions, compatibility, and other product related information.
As an authorized dealer you are eligible to receive a Redcat Authorized Dealer window sticker, and promotional banner.
Dealer Requirements
Overview - You must currently have either a physical commercial (retail or services) business location and/or operate a legitimate eCommerce website. We do not ship to residential addresses for resale. We require dealers to have a physical warehouse or retail location.
Redcat reserves the right to deny or discontinue dealer partnerships at our sole discretion.
Minimum first order greater than $2,000. You must provide a valid business license, tax identification number (TIN) and/or resale certificate. You can apply or obtain a business license through your secretary of state’s office. A TIN can be obtained on the IRS website or by calling the IRS and requesting a form be sent to you.
Physical Commercial Location - You must have a physical commercial location with Redcat products able to be purchased by walk-in customers. We may require photos of the inside and outside of your commercial location including photos of Redcat products within your business. Home based businesses do not qualify as a commercial location regardless of your state or local laws.
Legitimate eCommerce Website - You must have a consistently maintained, up-to-date and highly trafficked website with Redcat products easily searchable.
Selling platforms such as eBay, Amazon*, Craigslist, Offerup, Wish, Walmart, etc. do not qualify as your only electronic commerce platform.
*Redcat dealers are not permitted to sell Redcat products on the Amazon platform.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) for Dealers
What are the initial costs/order requirements to become an authorized Redcat Dealer? Your initial order must be greater than $2,000.00.
What Redcat product lines can I carry? As an authorized Redcat Dealer you will have access to our full line of vehicles, parts and accessories. Furthermore, our team of expert sales and support personnel will work with you to help determine the best vehicles, parts and accessories to meet your specific objectives.
Can I carry other brands? Absolutely!
Does Redcat Racing offer credit? Yes, for qualified dealers. Redcat has a standard credit application process. For more information please speak with one of our sales and support experts.
Can I disassemble new vehicles and then sell the components as spare parts and or rollers? No. Dealers found stripping down new vehicles for parts are considered chop shops which is detrimental to the brand. All new products must be sold as new and in the standard Redcat retail packaging.
Can dealers place preorders? Typically all new vehicle releases are eligible for preorder.
Can dealers place backorders? Not at this time.
